tragedy in swimming pool
Received Nov. 17, LIO a.m. CAPE TOWN, Nov. 16. A Livingstone message states that an enclosed swimming pool on the Zambesi, three miles from the town, was the scene of a tragedy witnessed by hundreds of residents. A European lad. who was a strong swimmer, was observed iu difficulties, hanging from the wire part of the giatiug. A man fully, clothed jumped in and caught the boy, but found himself pulled down and compelled to give upA crocodile on the other side of the grating had seized the boy. who bus not been traced. ,
