AMERICAN PROHIBITION
WICKERSHAM COMMISSION. THE REPORT FOR CONGRESS. Received Nov. 16. 8.35 p.m. WASHINGTON. Nov. 15. It is understood on excellent authority that the Wickersham Commission, on its recommendations, which are shortly to bo submitted to Mr Hoover and Congress, will unanimously oppose the repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment or the legalising of four per cent, beer. The report will be divided on the question of modification, and will not advise the establishment of any Government dispensary system, such as obtained >n Canada.
