General situation. —The depression has crossed the Dominion, but the following anti-cyclone is of slight intensity and is centred far north.. Pressure again has fallen rapidly at Hobart. Forecast.—Winds: Moderate to strong north-west to west, backing in places temporarily to south-west. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough on the west coast and about Cook and Foveaux Straits. Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong south-west to west and later north-west winds and rather rough seas ii. the easter n Tasman, Weather: Changeable, with scattered showers in western districts, mainly fair to fine in eastern districts. Temperatures: Cool to moderate. ?
