EARTHQUAKE SHOCK
EARLY MORNING TREMOR. A sharp earthquake shock at 1.28 this morning, though of short duration, was of sufficient severity to cause a considerable amount of apprehension among Wanganui householders. Buildings of more than single-storey dimensions swayed for some moments but up to the time of going to press no damage of an extensive nature had been reported.
