SHEARING DISPUTE
END OF THE STRIKE R. < < bed Nov. 14. 8.30 p.m. PERTH, Nov. 11. After a mass meeting of men who derided to shear under the award, which reduced rhe rate from 40s to 32s 6d per hundred, the president of the shearers’ committee announced that the men would accept work at award rates, thus ending the strike which has lasted three months.
