SHORTAGE OF CLERGY
COMMISSION’S SUGGESTION. LONDON, Nov. 13. A suggestion that congregations should listen to sermons from invisible preachers was made in the report of the Church Assembly Commission on the staffing of parishes. It was suggested that services in isolated churches should be relayed from a cathedral and elsewhere. Thus the shortage of clergy would be met.
