RESTRICTING THE OUTPUT. FORCING UP PRICES. Received Nov. 14, 11.20 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov? 14. . The Copper Institute has announced that producers representing .90 per rent, of the world’s output have agreed to reduce production by 2000 tons monthly, representing 15 per cent, of the world’s production of copper, and about equal to the excess of current production over consumption. Prices to-day rose ton cents here and are expected shortly to go 12 cents higher, where they will remain for a considerable time. All copper shares on the Newark market advanced one to three points to-day.
