SPRAY BLOWN INTO CITY SPARK WOULD CREATE HAVOC [By Telegraph—Press Association—Cbpyright] Received Nov. 2, 9.50 p.m. NEW YOBE Nov. 1. News from Oklahoma city states that a wild gusher is spouting clouds of inflammable oil and gas, which threatens the city, stopping traffic and imperilling lives. The gusher is emitting 63,000 barrels of oil and the gas is running at the rate of hundred million cubic feet daily It is situated right alongside the city’s wholesale district and the southwest wind blows the oil spray into the heart of the city. Any spark may cause a fire that would sweep away thousands of homes. Hundreds of families went without, breakfast, for all houshold fires arc prohibited.
