Disclosures of a terrorist plot were made at the trial in Calcutta to-day of 15 Bengalis charged with conspiracy. As a sequel to the ecent attempt to assassinate Sir Charles Tegert, Police Commissioner and the bomb outrages at Jorabagan. Eden Garden and police outposts of the city, detectives and thlpolice made a series of raids in which the accused were arrested.
A large quantity of live bombs, bombshells, revolvers, daggers, ammunition. detonators, gun cotton, seditious literature and chemicals for the manufacture of bombs were seized and in one house plans were discovered of police outposts, electric power houses and European club houses throughout the city.
At the opening of the trial Khan Bahib Shamsuddahaw, Assistant Police Commissioner said that some of the accused had confessed before a magistrate, revealing a widespread conspiracy to manufacture explosives and collect arms for the indiscriminate killing ©f Europeans an 1 high police officials.
