SUCCESSFUL CONCERT
THE GARRISON BAND. A largo and enthusiastic audience attended tho Garrison Band recital at tho Majestic Theatre last evening. The fine playing of the band brought forth hearty applause, especially in the contest selection “Der Freichiitz,” which was rendered in a masterly style. Mr Owen Williams demonstrated his ability as an euphonium soloist in the difficult solo “Senchuct,” which was warmly received. Vocal items provided by Mr George Bosher (tenor) delighted the audience. He was twice recalled. Miss Blanchett was equally successful, bein galso .twice recalled. Mrs S. Kendall, F.T.C.L., assisted assisted greatly with her usual polished accompa iment. The piano was loaned by the Bristol Piano Co.
