“MORE DOING’’ IN BUTTER Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd. have received the following market report from Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd. London, dated September 10: New Zealand butter: More doing; finest fresh landed scarce at 127 s per cwt., firsts 125 s per cwt. New Zealand cheese: Quiet. Standardised white, 71s per cwt.; coloured 72s per cWt. Full cream white 72s per ewt; coloured 63s per cwt.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following advice from their London house, dated September 10: Butter: New Zealand choicest salted, 124 s to 127 s per cwt (including stored) 126 s to 1275; better market. Cheese: White 7.1 s to 72s per cwt (83s to 78s); coloured 72s to 74s per cwt. (76s to 78s); market slow. Amalgamated Dairies, Limited, have received tho following market report from their London office dated September 6: Butter: Anchor prices unchanged (128 s No resumption general demand although buyers undoubtedly working very short stocks. Me' ntimc purchasing hand-to-mouth old stored stocks at 124 s and even lower. Holders old stored butter still eager force sales, therefore, these stocks controlling position meantime.
