If motion picture sets the modes in furniture as quickly as they do in clothes, plate glass furniture will be the latest. A complete boudoir in plate glass, some ‘ ‘Children of Pleasure. f> The furniture is used in the boudoir of Helen Johnson, playing the millionaire 's daughter in the picture and is said to have cost a fortune. Lawrence Gray, Benny Rubin, Wynne Gibson, May Boley, Lee Kohlmar and Kenneth Thomson are included in the cast of “Children of Pleasure/* A Mind. Reader. Harry Sharrock, of the Metro-Got d-wyn-Mayer studios, has the credit of being the best fitted by previous occupation for his present job in motion pictures. The gentleman is production manager for such companies as “The March or Time,’’ and “Caught Short.” a Marie Bressler-Polly Moran comedy directed by Chuck Reisner. As such it is his job to anticipate shifts of weather or story that might change “set ups” on stage or location. Sharrock was a stage mind-reader before joining pictures! The team of Hurry and Emma Sharrock headlines in variety for many years.
