THOUSANDS OUT OF WORK GRAVE SITUATION AT BOMBAY [By Tt^egraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received Sept. 2, 11.5 p.m. DELHI, Sept. 2. Eight more cotton mills closed down in Bombay yesterday and In the. city there are now 60,000 idle mill hands. Twenty-two mills hitherto have closed as the result of the trade depression, which has been aggravated by the Con gross ban on their products, throwing out 40.000 workers. Many other mills are working only short time, rendering 20,000 more idle.
