CAUGHT BY TIDE
TRAGEDY AT A BEACH SIX BOYS DROWNED LONDON, July 9A bathing tragedy occurred at Blackpool. Ninety-one boys belonging to St. Aiden’s School were camping in the neighbourhood when the majority went in to bathe. Several were caught in the receding tide and threw up their arms and shouted for help. Bystanders at first thought it was part of the general merriment and when they realised th fl danger it was too lato to rescue all.
Six were drowned and two gallant ly rescued.
