RELAX THE GRIP
A bad driving habit is that of gripping the steering wheel too tightly in driving. It is better to have a relaxed grip on the wheel. The driver will find that he is less tired at the end of a day’s journey. Furthermore, the vibrations of the road are not transmitted to the arm of the driver when there is a loose grip on the wheel, but when the arm and wheel arc rigidly connected by a tight grip the body is absorbig too much of the road shock. The better drivers are noted for their relaxed positions.
