OFFICERS NOMINATED. COUNCILS TO BE BALLOTED FOR. [ Per Press Association. ] DUNEDIN, May 15. The secretary of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association has received the following nominations for officers and members of the Council of the Association for the year 1930-1931: President: Mr James Pascoe (Auckland); vice-president, Mr H. B. Oakley (Christchurch); treasurer, Mr A. H. Yeoman (Auckland). As these were the only nominations for those positions they are declared elected. Members of the Council for the North Island, Messrs G. S. Gordon (Wanganui), J. W. Hardley (Auckland), J. Kershaw (Wellington), H. G. Mayer (Wellington), A. K. Smart (New Plymouth), J. M. Thomson (Auckland), R. N. Pilkington Hamilton). Members of the Council for the South Island, Messrs W. F. Barnett (Christchurch), D. C. Cameron jun. (Dunedin), W. Connor (Dunedin), W. Efford (Christchurch), F. J. Good (Christchurch), E. H. Healey (Christchurch), J. H. Loudon (Invercargill), J. J. Marlow (Dunedin)', J. Moyer (Timaru), H. Rowley (Dunedin), A. J. Sullivan (Dunedin). As only ten members of the Council are wanted for each island a ballot will be taken to decide who the representatives are to be.
