“THE DELIGHTFUL ROGUE”

ALL ABOUT A SEA PIRATE. The Radio Corporation of America arc responsible for the excellent recording in Rod La Rocque’s latest all-talk-ing dramatic feaure which will be the attraction at The Grand Theatre tonight. It’s a magnificent story of tropic sea Jove that you will never forget. The story revolves around a sea pirate, a swagger chap, who lives in luxury, and is feared by everyone, yet at the same time he is not half so’ bad as he is painted. He is supposed to be a woman hater, and with the knowledge that there is a price upon his head, and is likely to be killed if he should go into the waterfront town, he seeks enter tainment where he meets the heroine, half owner of the cabaret and its chief attraction. He falls in love with her. but finds that she is in love with a well-to-do American, who wants to take her back home with him. He is sort of caddish in that he is brave when in the greatest danger and laughs at the troops when they come to arrest him. The American becomes jealous at the advances of Lustra (played by Rod La Rocque) and informs the police that he will be meeting Nydra, played bj Rita La Roy, on the beach and has him taken to jail. The men of the hero lead the police to the river and take the American to their ship. Later the heroine comes to the ship, and asks Lastra to release him but he refuses unless she will spend that night on the ship with him. This leads to complications that Lastra then puts the American to a test how much he really loves the girl, the picture is well produced and some of the scenes are really magnificent. It will provide entertainment of value, and abounds in plenty with thrills and adventure.
