INTERESTING SIDELIGHTS Zane Grey Talkie. A Zane Grey story of the West brought to the talking screen, * ‘The Light of the Western Stars,” is to be released by Paramount-Famous PlayersLasky, with Richard Arlen in the starring role. May Brian, Harry Green, Fred Kohler and Regis Toomey are among the members of the supporting cast. The story describes the last desperate stand of banded outlawry on frontier America. Arlen plays the part of Dick Bailey, who seeks to capture the heart of Mary Brien. Harry Green, featured in “The Man I Love,” is cast as an itinerant peddlar, who becomes I he pal of the cowboy.

During tho I filming of “Slightly Scarlet,” a Para- | mount all-talking romance, starring i Kvelyn Brent and Clive Brook, heavy inroads were made on the stock of the French section. Two fashionable Parisian apartments and a beautiful country villa were furnished completely from the stock on hand.
