Our Ite from Kangaroo Land

'Dear Wendy,—Well, Wendy, dear, T was so pleased to see my last letter in print; I hope this one will be in print, also. Winter is coming on now and we have to have fires at night. We had about onq inch of rain this week, and it was very much appreciated, I might tell you, because there wasn’t a blade of grass to be seen anywhere; the hills were almost red, so you can imagine how much we needed it. Have you ever seen billiards played, Wendy? My uncle has a cottage billiard table at his home, and he often holds billiard tournaments. I can’t think of much news, dearie. By the way, what is the latest song you know. Do you know “Tip-toe Through the Tulips With Me” and “By the Bab-bab-babbling Brook” ? They are very nice. Have you seen any pictures lately? “Sorrell and Son” was the last one I saw. It was good. Have you seen Charles (buddy) Rogers in pictures?

He's nice. Have you a photo of yet ? I have great patience to wait for mine, haven’t I ? I had my photo taken at the Adelong Show and it isn’t developed yet. I can just appreciate how welcome the heavy rain was. Oh yes, I have seen and also played billiards. It is a fine game, isn’t it? We have all the latest songs here.
