AUTUMN SHOW
WAXG AN ITI HORTIC ULTURA I.
A final reminder is given that entries for the forthcoming show to be staged by the Wanganui Horticultural Society on Wednesday next, close with the hon. secretary, Mr V. B. Willis, at 3 o’clock to-night. Already several entries and promises of entries have been received. There is a sure indication that the exhibition of chrysanthemums this year will be the finest that the Society has ever staged. Several exhibitors will be showing for the first time. Cut flowers and the decorative section are always well represented at horticultural shows in Wanganui and the show on Wednesday next will be no exception. Children are requested to note that the age limit in their classes has been increased to fifteen years and exhibitors in the decorated table classes are reminded that the prices have been increased to £1 and 10s first ami second respectively. Wanganui is well known for the quality of its flowers and the prospects are that the show, which will be held in the Old Museum Buildings, Drew’s Avenue, will be attended by a record number of patrons.
