THEFT OF MONEY
CHINAMAN PLEADS GUILTY. [ Per Press Association ] DUNEDIN, April 4. At the Police Court, Low Snow Y’uc pleaded guilty to stealing £2 from Young Shack, The police stated that accused came from Wellington and was befriended by complainant. Since his arrival £lOO had been missed. Two notes in the present case which were marked were found in accused’s possession. Air Hanlon, for him, ridiculed the suggestion that complainant lost £lOO without reporting it. Accused had lent to complainant £lO, of which only £6 was returned. This was his method of recouping himself. Accused was remanded on bail, the probation officer to communicate with Wellington.
