BOGEY MATCH TO-DAY. At the Belmont links to-day members of the Wanganui Golf Club will try themselves out against the ‘ ‘ Colonel. ” All plavers competing are requested to put their cards in, whether they be good, bad or indifferent, as the match committee intend revising the handicaps before the fi Ft round of the Imlay Cup is played. Entries for the Imlay Cup close on Saturday, April 19, and the draw will be notified after Easter, the first round being set down to be. played on April 26. The match committee intend that this competition should not be allowed to “drag” this year and have decided definitely that all matches not played on the date specified will be drawn for. Wanganui players will be catered for at Easter with tournaments at Soaficld, New Plymouth and Palmerston North. As some players will not be able to participate in the tournaments and may like a game during the Easter holidays, it lias been decided that the Belmont links be kept open. The greens will be cut as usual and they will also be in first-class order, so that, if they wish, visitors may have a round.
