“SURRENDER TO MOSCOW”
MR HENDERSON CRITICISED (Sun Cable.) Received Oct. 2, 11 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 2. Criticism of the Anglo-Russian agreement is centred on the fact that, subject to Parliament’s approval, the restoration of full diplomatic relations is to follow without any of the conditions on which Mr Henderson at first insisted. “It is a surrender to Moscow,” says the Morning Post, which points out that tho questions of debts and propaganda are not to precede recognition but to come afterwards.
