NO TAX RETURNS
DEFAULTERS IN COURT [ Par Press Association. ] NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 2. At the Magistrate’s Court Geo. G. Newell, Alex Galloway, Geo. M. Galloway, S. E. Nilson, Sydney R. Lovell were each fined £2 with costs £1 Ils for failure to furnish income tax returns, All had failed to send returns some years necessitating a default assessment.
The charges were brought as a warning.
