DEPARTMENTAL MOVE LECTURE BY AIR DEEM [ Pet Press Association. ) PAHIATUA, Oct. 2. Mr J. W. Deem, director of the fields division, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North, in a lecture here, said tho Department was adopting a farms’ roll. A survey was made of a largo number of farms, and the best were picked out of each district. The methods were published in the Department’s “Journal.” The Department had already found a farm in tho Pahiatua district that was amongst the first three in New Zealand.
