FOUND HANGING

A MECHANIC’S SUICIDE [ Per Press Association ] AUCKLAND, Oct. 1. Albert Ernest Powell, aged 52, employed as a mechanic by the Post and Telegraph Department, was found dead in the washhouse at his residence hanging from a rafter. He had suffered from insomnia. At the inquest the verdict was suicide by hanging. Powell served in the South African and Great War.
