FREE I ~~ I I AEROPLANE RIDE I | ESSAY COMPETITION | The Wanganui Aero Club has ' generously arranged for juvenile j readers of the “Chronicle” to have the opportunity to compete for a free aeroplane ride. The aeroplanes will arrive on Monday, so there is not much time. School-children of 14 years and under are invited to submit an essay on the following sub ject: “Why I Should Like to Fly” Attached to each essay should be a coupon (attached below) clipped from the “Chronicle” and filled in clearly in ink The essays will be judged by “Wendy,” and “Wendy’s” decision will be final. The name of the fortunate boy or girl who wins this essay' competition and who will be given a free aeroplane ride on Monda,y afternoon, will be published in the “Chronicle” on Monday morning.
