OTAGO DEFENDS MR POLSON [ Per Press Association ] DUNEDIN, Oct. 1. At a meeting of the Otago Farmers’ Union, a motion was carried that the executive strongly emphasises the fact that the Farmers’ Union cannot succeed in continuing to be the benefit it has boon in the past to farmers, if criticism levelled against the Dominion President continues to be made by the methods adopted. The executive also points out that, as a matter of courtesy, all matters of this kind should go through the Dominion executive. The executive further points out that Mr Polson as unanimously elected president by the Dominion Conference.
