OVER 100 MILES AN HOUR LONDON, Sept. 11. For the first time in the history of motoring a woman has driven at over IQO miles an hour. Miss G. M. Stewart, who recently crossed the North Sea in her husband’s speed-boat, covered .101 miles and 962 yards in an hour at the track at Montjhery, France, using a 966 c.c. Morgar>.Tap cycle-car. This constituted a world’s record for three-wheeled machines under 1100 c.c. engine capacity.
