NOTICE TO MARfNEHS Tho Marino Department advises mariner? that a flashing white light, showing one short flash every one and a-half seconds, has been established at Tim aru on the Eastern Extension Mole, 25 yards from the seaward end. The light is on an iron framework. 35ft in height, and the arc of the light is uninterrupted. The department also advises that the arc of visibility of tho red sector of the temporary light at Kahurangi Point is found to be 25 degrees, that is, between 151 degrees and 176 degrees. At a distance of eight miles south-westward the lightobscured at 045 degrees, but this bearing is found to become less as the distance from the light is increased.
