DE VALERA’S STATEMENT ( Australian Press ..ssn. ! LONDON, Sept. 29. * In a speech at Enfield, De Valera announced that the Fianna Fail would repudiate payments to England under the land annuities arrangements. “We arc determined that this money equal to 4s 10s in the £1 in Irish revenue, will not leave the country when wc have a majority which we believe is ours as a rigtl. We mean to stick to it.” He added that he would not make such a statement without excellent legal advice. The sum of £2,000,000 wouil provide for the derating of farmers.
