There were pink cherry blossoms to welcome in the guests who assembled lor the very last Gonville Baby bridge party at Mrs Bullock-Douglas’ house yesterday. Mrs Bullock-Douglas, who was wearing a frock of navy crepe de chine with panel of blue and henna embroideries, received a large number of guests, and very soon everybody was comfortably disposed of at the various tables. JOYLAND’S SATURDAY DANCE Owing to a previous booking, Joyland were unable to get the Druid’s Hall for last Saturday’s dance, and so spent one more night in their old horned But during the course of the evening, the final move to the larger hall, starting from Saturday night next, was announced and was greeted with applause.
