WEATHER FORECAST
General situation—The cyclone is now centred north of Chatham Island, While the one which formed yesterday on the New South Wales coast is advancing slowly eastward. Forecast—Winds: South-east to southerly and moderate to strong. Seas (Now Zealand waters) moderate to the west coast of the South Island, elsewhere rather rough to rough, with a high swell on the east eoast’ Tasman Sea, moderate southerly winds in the Eastern Tasman, backing gradually to east and north-east; seas, moderate. Weather still dull, cold and showery, especially in districts with an easterly aspect.
