LEVIN AND CO., LTD. Levin and Co. report: —The annual jutching sale was held this afternoon, total offering being about 14U0 Bales, to which our catalogue contributed 240 bales. We offered no fleece wool, our catalogue comprising crutchings, with a few bales of pieces, bellies and locks. The competition was weE distributed, local scourers and fellmongers supporting the market very well, taking heavy conditioned crutchings, bellies, pieces and locks, whilst buyers from overseas mofiopoiised the buying of light conditioned and medium and super crutchings. Our “Balgowuie” bins were very keenly competed for from all quarters, and were responsible for an animated period of bidding during an otherwise dull sale.

Generally prices were down 2d to 4d compared with the correspondin sale of last year. We quote: —Super crutchings, lOd; medium to good, 7|<l to 9|d; seedy and inferior, 4d to 7d. Other wools, not sufficient offering to warrant quotation.
