McDonald, of Ashburton, wrote interestingly about i New Zealand Edgeworth enthusiasts. “I am one of them myself,” he said, ‘‘ami Now Zealand appears to possess quite a large number of them. Quito recently a spirited correspondence engaged the eoloumns of one of our loading newspapers, the controversial subject being •'Who has smoked Edgeworth longest?’ In fact a stranger to New’ Zealand at the time might have assumed that the bulk of our population was composed of octogenarian I smokers of Edgeworth.” Air AfcDonald notices how smokers of this fine ' tobacco are continually inducing other smokers to get the Edgeworth habit. —Advt.
