SERVICES APPRECIATED
Afr G. Eeles, who is under transfer to Wellington, was entertained at a social evening on Saturday by members of tho Castlecliff School Committee and Past Students’ Association, and was presented with a gold mounted fountain pen suitably inscribed. In making the presentation, Afr W. Smith, headmaster of the school, paid a warm tribute to the guest of the evening for the great interest he had taken in the school’s welfare and in the formation of the Past Students’ Association. Ho congratulated Afr Eeles on his promotion and wished him every success for the future. Mr Eeles suitably replied.
