In the matter of “The Wanganui River Trust Act, 1891” and “The Wanganui River Trust Amendment Act, 1922” (as amended by Section 138 of “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1925”) and of “The Local Elections and polls Act. 1925.” ELECTION OF THREE MEMBERS. j HEREBY give public notice that an Election f Three Members of the Wanganui River Trust for the special district created by “The Wanganu. River Trust Amendment Act, 1922, ” the boundaries whereof ar c firstly i.il thirdly described in the schedule to the said Act and amended by Section IBS of “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1925,” will be held on Wednesday, tho Eighth day of May, 1929, an ! J hereby appoint the office of tho Wi.totara County Council, 112 Ridgway Street, Wanganui, as the place, and Wednesday, the 24th April, 1929, before noon, as the time for the nominations of Candidates. Each candidate must be qualified to be a councillor under “The Count"s Act, 1920,” and must also be an occupier within the moaning of “Tho Rating Act, 1925,” of land within the special district. Nomination papers must bo signed in manner prescribed by “Tho Local Election and Polls Act. 1925,” by two occupiers of land within the special 'mtrict and by the candidate, and delivered to me or addressed to me at the place aforesaid before noon of the said d iy of nomination.
