DANCE AT WANGAEHU. On Friday evening the Wangaehu School Committc held a very successful fancy dress danc~ in the Hall. The children danced till 8.30. when the adults took the floor. Music was supplied by the Ratana Orchestra, and the frocks were judged by Mcsdamcs Wilson and Steel.

TO DAY’S RECIPE. Cream Cheese. —Leave the sour milk in a cold place until it is quite thick turn it into a muslin bag. Tic a piece of string round the top, and hang it up to drain with a basin underneath to catch the whey. (A dresser-hook is a very convenient place to hang it.)Leave it until it has ceased to drip. It will take about twenty-four hours. Take out the “cheese” and work it into pats or squares with butter patters, adding a little salt, also pepper, if liked.
