A GREAT PAGEANT
SPAIN ACCLAIMS DE RIVERA SPECTACULAR PROCESSION IN MADRID. [ Times Cables. ] LONDON, Sept. 14. T’ho Madrid correspondent of The 1 imes states that the greatest pageant ever seen at the capital, proving that General de Rivera has an immense popular backing, passed off wihout incident. The procession, representiug the provinces, took six hours to pass General do Rivera’s saluting base. Africa led the column with a group of Moors and Jews. Albasete sent a carriage of beautiful girls bearing gifts for General de Rivera. Badjoz sent herdsmen; Burgos, its famous giants, and Caceres, a company of soldiers of the sixteenth century legion. Each tableau was accompanied by bands and dancers, who performed before the dais.
