OHAKUNE BOROUGH COUNCIL ’ [ Special “Chronlcl ” Service J The Council’s monthly meeting was held on Thursday evening, there were present: His Worship the Mayor (Mr G. J. Goldfinch), Crs., S. Herbert, F. Clemett, W. L. Jones, W. Relf, W. F. Mahony, N. Christie and P. P. Wood. The clerk and engineer were also present. It was resolved to donate £7 17s 2d to the Plunket Society. The Druids’ Lodge, Raetihi, wrote requesting support in approaching the Wanganui Hospital Board for extended facilities. at the Raetihi Hospital, in the way of treatment for outpatients. It was resolved to support the request.
