YESTERDAY’S SALE AT FEILDING [ Per Press • Association ) FEILDING, Sept. 14. At the stock sale to-day the yarding of fat store sheep was a little heavier than last week. Bidding was as keen as ever for fats and excellent prices were received. Eat hoggets sold up to 33s for very prime, other prices ranging from 26s 6d. Black face hoggets brought 26s 8d to 30s, four and six tooth ewes to 39s 64, b.f. maiden ewes 375. others 36s 3d to 39s 4<l. One pen o# two sold at 40s. Shorn wethers solid at 29s 9d. Prime sorts realised! 42s and up to 43s lOd for extra prime. No woo ly wethers sold at 1 css than 355. In the stores section bidding for ewes and lambs was not so keen. Wether hoggets sold, readily at 31s (VI and 32s Bd, ewe hoggets 38s 104, M.S. hoggets 29s Id to 31s 6d and two tooth wethers 36s 6d. Dairy cattle.—Springing Jersey heifers £7 ss, cow in calf to R.B. Jersey bull £l4 ss, cows in milk £7 15s, cow in ca f £l2 10s. Fat cattle. —There was a heavy yaiding of fat cattle, which in some cases did not reach the vendors’ values. Cows solid at £7 2s 6d (poor) to £l5 15s, P.A. cows £l4 6s, heifers (inferior) £6 14s to £7 2s 6d, better sorts £l5 ss.
