THE WEATHER. Indications arc for moderate to strong north to west winds, north of Westport and Akaroa, reaching gale force at places about Cook Strait, with southerlies thence southwards gradua ly extending over ad the Dominion. Seas will be rough on the West Coast and off-shore south of Castle Point. The weather will bo unsettled and squally, with showers in most districts and heavy fal’s at places.
