GENERAL NEWS On Saturday the Flock House boys will play Athletic who are second in the Manawatu Soccer competition. Fiock House have a three point lead but Athletic, have shown a big improvement, and the game should be well worth watching. Last week Flock House played a weak team from R.S.A. and had an easy victory by 3 points to 1. Scorers for Flock House were Stewart, Beamish and Goodall, while Baigent kicked R.S.A.’s only goal. Stewart played his usual brilliant game. On Alonday evening the Bulls Bow* ing Club will hold a general meeting in the racing club office to make ti>rangements for the coming ball. It is hoped that there will be a large attendance of members and ladies interested in the club. The series of euchre parties conducted by the school committee in aid of the school funds will end in the Town Hall supper-room this evening. Great interest is being taken in the points prizes, as numbers of players arc in the running and there should be a big crowd present.
