RADIO PROGRAMMES AUCKLAND LISTENERS’ COMPLAINTS [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, June 26. At the annual meeting of the Auckland Listeners’ League, a motion was carried that in the opinion of the meeting the Auckland programmes were not commensurate with the financial support given to the company by listeners-in in the Auckland province. It was also resolved to request the Government to publish the Broadcasting Company’s balance sheet and set up an Advisory Boa nd. Mr McNamara, Secretary to the Post and Telegraph Department, will be ssked to visit Auckland to hear the opinions of listeners-in at a publ?c meeting.
