THE FIRST CROSSING TRIBUTE TO SIR JOHN ALCOCK. [ British Official* Wireless. J RUGBY, June 24. A mov.ng tribute to the memory ot one of the pioners of trans-Atlantic flying was paid yesterday by Lieutenant Stultz, pilot of Miss Earhart's Atlantic seaplane Friendship, and Mr. Gordon, navigator of the u achine. They flew to Manchester and after a civic reception they laid a wreath on the grave of Sir John Alcock v ho, with Sir Arthur Whitten Brown made the first flight across the Atlantic in 1919.
