UNEMPLOYMENT
AN INSURANCE SCHEME CANADIAN GOVERNMENT’S MOVE [ Australian Press Assn. ] OTTAWA, June 6. The House of Commons adopted the report of the Industrial Relations Committee endorsing unemployment insurance. Replying to Air H. H. Stevens (Con.), the Premier said that he could’ not see concurrence by the House in the principle that it carried an obligation to implement legislation at present. If the position was that adoption meant an obligation to vote money now, the Government would not give its support.
