FRIDAY S FEILDING SALE Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., report on the Fcilding sale held on Friday as follows: There was another heavy yarding of fat lambs and i’at sheep anil a small one of store sheep and cattle. Bidding was keen throughout especially for. fat lambs and a total clearance was effected. Cattle sold at late rates. We quote: — Sheep.—Eat lambs 23s Id, 23s 6d, 24s Bd, L'6s, 27s 3d, 27s 9d» 28s dd, 28s Bd, 32s 3d, 345, 34s 7id, £2 to £2 2s, fat ewes 25s Id, 25s 6d, 28s 3d to 30s, fat wethers 33s 9d, 35s 6d to 365, 2-th. ewes in lamb to S.D. 37s Bd, aged ewes in lamb to S.D. 25s 6c», store ewes 15s Gi to 17s, mixed sex lambs 26s 6d, forward lambs 22s nd to 22s Bd. Cattle.— Fat cows £6 ss, £6 17s 6d to £8 14s» forward cows £4 2s, £4 ss, £4 15s to £6 ss, store cows £2 12s to £3, weancr heifers £2 15s, £2 16s, to £5» springing heifers £9 10s to £l3, heifers in milk £7, springing cows £4 5s to £6 2s 6<l. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report having a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle at Fcilding. The following are quotations:—Fat lambs 235, 245, 26s 3d, to 32s 6<l» fat ewes 295, fat wethers 32s 6d, 35s 3d to 375, 4 year ewes in lamb S.D.R. 38s 2d, extra good ewe lambs 375, ewe lambs 275, small wether lambs 17s 4d to 19s, b.f. lambs 19s 8d to 225. empty ewes 19s 6d, springing cows £ll 10s, springing Jersey heifers £8 Bs, £lO 10s, Jersey wcaner heifers £3 £4 10s to £4 15s. light fat bullocks £9 7s 6d, rough 4 year bullocks £7 10s. Levin and Co. Ltd., report at Feeding on Friday we had a gocyl yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was a large attendance of buyers and bidding was animated on all classes throughout the sale, prices realising late rates. We quote:—Fat ewes 27s 4d to 30s lftd, fat wethers 37s 9d, fat b.f. 2-toothed 36s 6d light fat ’ T).r. lambs 34s 6d, f. and f. ewes 20s 6d to 23s 9d, medium Romney ewe lambs 29s 2d, small M.S. lambs 15s 6d, aged ewes R.W.S.D. rams to 2.3 s 6d, 2-tooth wethers 32s 36.
