CORONER’S INQUEST Air F. C. Wilson, of Alarton, presided over a coronial inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of John Webley Hart, which occurred at Parewanui, Bulls, on Friday morning. Air R. Mackay (Bulls) -watched the case on behalf of relatives of the deceased, and Air Wilson (Marshall, Izard, and Barton, Wanganui) appeared for the N.Z. Insurance Company. After hearing the evidence of Dr F. Watson, Alervin Hart, Frank Hart and William Kearney, the Coroner gave his verdict in accordance with the medical evidence, stating that deceased -was evidently suffering from heart trouble, a recurrence of w'hieh might happen at any time; and in consequence of exertion, and annoyance from a restive horse, he collapsed. In the Coroner’s opoinion deceased died from heart failure caused by an enlarged heart. The late Air Hart was a well known blacksmith in Rangitikei, having been in business in Greatford, Parewanui and Bulls for upwards of 35 years. He was born in Upper Afoutcre, Nelson, in 1870, and was the fourth son of the late Air J. Hart, himself a blacksmith. Deceased was one of a large family, surviving brothers being Frank (Bulls), Charles (Feilding). William (West Coast). Walter (Palmerston North), and Joseph (Nelson); and there arc two sisters, Airs Harvey (Nelson), and Airs Knight (Westport). .Sympathy is felt for deceased’s widow and family, the latter comprising four sons, Sydney (Dannevirke), Claude (Foxton), Alervin (Bulls), and Donald (Feilding); and five daughters, Airs W. Andrew (Sanson), Airs H. Richards (Bulls), and Afabcl, Nellie and Phyllis Hart (all of Bulls)'. GENERAL NEWS. The Alanchcster Unity Lodge will hold a dance in the Oddfellows’ Hall this evening. The Bulls Town Board meets this evening. The Bulls School euchre party was well attended on Friday evening, over 50 playing cards. Aliss Alansell won the ladies’ prize and Air Chas. Ellery was awarded the gentlemen’s trophy. The Parewanui Dairy Factory paid out. 1/54 for April’s supply. A meeting of parishioners of the parochial district of Bulls, Sanson and Greatford is called for to-morrow evening to arrange for a farewell to the Vicar of Bulls. Air J. Campbell’s son, Ray, has recci veil an appointment 1o the staff of the Alarton branch of the Bank of New South Wales. He was one of the best forwards in the Bulls junior?, and his club mates will miss him both on and off the field. The first series of euchre parties conducted by the Parewanui School was ; held on Friday evening, there being a good attendance. The prizes were won by Airs W. Homes and Air Lind, whilst “boobies” were awarded to Aliss Holland and W. Holland.. During the evening the Flock House boys gave recitations, songs and exhibitions of dancing, which were much appreciated. THE PICTURES. At the Bulls Town Hall on Wednesday evening will be screened the master picture “The Night Cry,” with Rin Tin Tin, the wonder dog. This is a picture that gives new meaning to the words—thrilling, breath-taking ami astounding.
