SHEEP IN DEMAND [ Press Association ] FEILDING, May 18. There was an average yarding of sheep comprising breeding ewes, store wethers and lambs, also a full yarding of fat sheep. There was a keen demand for all classes of sheep, prices being in favour of vendors. Fat lambs made from 23s to 42s for extra heavy woolly lambs, fat wethers 36s 6d and 37s 6d, fat b.f. twotooths 36s 6d, heavy fat ewes 28s 3d to 30s, breeding ew.es 4 and 5-year r.w.S.D. rams 32s to 38s, 5-year ditto 28s, aged ditto 225, 2-tooth ewes r.w.S.D. rams 37s Bd, good woolly ewe lambs from 28s 3d to 375, small ditto 15s 6d, good mixed sex lambs 26s 6d, fat forward ewes 23s 9d. There was a small yarding of cattle and a keen demand for dairy stock and fat cattle.- Store bullocks were slightly easier. Springing heifers £5 10s to £l3, cows calving factory dates £3 10s to £l2 10s, store cows £3 10s to £5, Jersey weaner heifers £1 16s, £4 10s to £5 10s, P.A. yearling heifers £3 15s, fat cows £4 15s to £8 14s, fat bullocks £ll 8s 6d, 3£-year Hereford store bullocks £8 15s to £9 10s.
