TO BE INAUGURATED AT WELLINGTON. Great inlerot is being manifested throughout Nuw Zealand, not only in musical circles but by the general public in the appearance in speeiallv selected programmes of the. world-famous pianist Benno Aloisei witsch. The Dominion season will be inaugurali‘d at the AVellington Town Hall on Thursday, Alay 24. and recitals will also be given on Saturdav Alav 2G. ami Tuesday. Alay 29. The programmes now being arranged for the New Zealand tour are decidedly interesting in that they contain not only the classical and romantic gems of the noted composers of tin* world, who have long passed away but also a number of striking modern compositions which have proved most acceptable in America, England and on the Continent.
